Cumulative energy demand (CED) is a technique that quantifies the primary energy demand in the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) over the entire life of a product (Rolf Frischknecht et al, 2015).

Cumulative energy demand (CED) is a sum of a CED for extraction resources, CED for production, CED for use, CED for disposal / recycling (G. Mert et al., 2016).
