The software module for analyzing the distribution of wind resources to reduce spatial scale is a useful tool in identifying the best areas to install monitoring tools. Analysis of spatial distributions of air currents at extensive scale, validated largely by comparative analysis of METEOSAT satellite imagery, closely linked to the values measured at uniformly distributed global weather stations, continuously monitored by national institutions and centralized by World Meteorological Organization (WMO), has allowed us to develop a numerical model which takes into account the local parameterization (distribution elevation, land cover, etc.), to stimulate the local distribution of air currents. Such a tool allows precise metric location of the best areas for units operating wind resource installation.
